Ruhl Forensic’s latest book, Truck Accident Litigation, Second Edition, has been published by the American Bar Association. The book combines the expertise of experienced litigators with trucking industry professionals, engineers and reconstructionists to provide insights and information into the reconstruction of truck accident cases.

European Crash Testing
The firm is a member of IbB Expertisen, a group of European reconstructionists who join industrial and insurance groups to perform extensive, highly instrumented crash testing at their annual conference. The data gathered from the crash analyses is ultimately used in simulation software programs such as PC Crash.

The firm is honored to have had the American Bar Association select Ruhl Forensic to produce a comprehensive treatise entitled Truck Accident Litigation, Second Edition. The book updates and expands the original Truck Accident Litigation and Insurance book published over 10 years ago by the ABA.

It is the belief of the ABA and Ruhl Forensic that this book sets the standard as both a trucking industry tutorial and a legal "how to". Our aim is to provide an overview of the trucking industry and applicable standards for motor carrier / driver with emphasis on legal liability, considerations and ramifications.

The publication discusses common occurrences, red flag situations, nuances and pitfalls of cases involving commercial motor vehicles. Lawyers, both plaintiff and defense, from all over the country contributed, as well as experts, both internal and external, and trucking industry people. The book is currently available through the ABA.
