Scott C. Buck Heavy Construction Equipment Specialist

Scott Buck brings forty years of experience in the operation and safe use of heavy construction equipment, both as an operating engineer and as the Safety Coordinator for Local 150 of the International Union of Operating Engineers. Mr. Buck consults in the use and safe operation of heavy construction equipment including cranes, scrapers, bulldozers, loaders, combination backhoes, and excavators. He also consults with regard to crane operator training requirements and qualifications, applicable consensus standards, governmental regulations, and OSHA. Mr. Buck has been a long-standing member of the ASME / ANSI B30 committee and B30.5 subcommittee which formulates standards regarding mobile and locomotive cranes. He is a past president of the Construction Safety Association of America and has been involved in pilot programs aimed toward the development of testing for crane operators.
